Information we collect from children
On our website, we ask parents of children ages 16 and under to sign up as beta testers for our new app. Children provide their email address and their parent’s email address. We use the parent’s email address to notify the when the beta test is available. We use the parent’s email address to notify the parent of this collection. Users may submit: stories about their pets, schools projects and reports relative to helping animals, educational articles, fictional stories, jokes, fan art, drawings, adoptable pets, missing pets, and other pieces of content. We require parental approval for children ages 16 and under to sign up as beta testers for our new app.

After signing up to become a user on our app, users are asked to create a unique username and password.
Users are not required to provide their actual or legal name. It is encouraged that users provide nicknames as their usernames.
Users whose accounts have not undergone our parental verification procedure will not be allowed to use their personal name or any form of cryptic spelling as part of their username.
We do not allow users under the age of 16 years old to use last names as part of their username. Users found in violation can be permanently banned from using our app.
Users are required to enter their birthdate.
Users can enter information on their pets including their pet’s name, bio, species, sex, and if their pet was adopted. Depending on the species, users can input whether their pet has been microchipped and spayed and neutered.
Users can utilize our pet care tasks feature which will collect data surrounding their daily behavior based on their tasks. This data will be processed to send push notifications and alerts to users and their parents. Users or parents may opt out of push notifications by going to settings > report a problem.
It is required for all users to undergo our parental verification procedure before posting photos that show their image or identifiable information. Any image found in violation may be removed and may result in permanently banning said user from app.
Users must be cautious when posting photos of their pets with collars and ID tags which show private information including name, address, phone number, email address, and microchip number. Any image found showing this information will be considered to be in violation with our terms and may be removed and may result in permanently banning user from the app.
Users can comment and like their own photos and photos of users who they follow. Users have the ability to delete comments. Parents are encouraged to opt in and manage.
It should be noted every time a child submits content or contributions, a parent or legal guardian will receive a notification with information and access to edit, control, delete, and monitor contributions. Parents are allowed to opt of of these notifications but are encouraged not to.
Any issues regarding blocking or harassment should be immediately noted and reported by going to settings> report a problem.

On our app, we also ask adults 16 to sign up to become users.
