Kids often want to help animals in their community but don't know how or may not be old enough to volunteer.
That is why we are launching our new PEP! App!
PEP! will be the first app that teaches and rewards kids for taking care of their pets and rewards kids for getting active in local animal rescue efforts!
PEP! will make it easy for kids to find ways to use their time and talents to make a difference. Even if you do not have a shelter or allow kids to physically interact with the animals in your care, there are creative ways to get kids involved!
We are now signing up shelters, rescues, and animal organizations to sign up for a free profile where we can promote volunteer opportunities for kids.
PEP! makes it easy for kids to search for volunteer opportunities or ways to help your organization! For example, you may not allow kids to volunteer at your shelter, but that kid can host a lemonade stand or create a fundraiser. And the coolest part of all, kids will be able earn points and rewards for lending a paw.
A few ideas and ways kids can help out:
When you sign up, we will create a free profile for your organization with ideas and opportunities for kids to help out!
To sign up visit www.mypepsquad.com/kidfriendlyshelter. Don't forget to check out our free humane education resources page with tons of FREE activity sheets!
It is our goal to educate the next generation of pet owners to help reduce the millions of pets that are surrendered and euthanized into shelters annually.
Education is a big part of our mission! That is why we are building the app to also serve as an educational platform with fun and easy to read articles for kids!
PEP! is tentatively scheduled to launch on February 4, 2019! We still have a few spots in our beta testing program available! Sign up your child today!
Currently the app is being self funded by our founders! If you would like to support us, consider purchasing something from our online shop! 100% of the proceeds go to fund the development of this app!
